For our family, Memorial Day is not centered around picnics and BBQs. It is about honoring and appreciating the freedom that we have here in the U.S. This freedom has come at a great sacrifice for so many. Here is my attempt at honoring a family member who lost his life in pursuit of a better world for all of us.
